Wanting to book a field trip to the Grand Theater?

We are excited to host your students at the Grand Theatre. Below are our school booking policies and information. Please review all the information below and then submit the form to be contacted by our booking manager. Please note, completing the form is not a confirmation of booking. You will receive a response in 2-3 business days to confirm all details.

Pricing is $9 per student or teacher which includes their admission, a small drink, and a bag of popcorn.

  1. Parents / Chaperones are allowed to attend, but please notify us when booking if additional people will be attending. Parents/Chaperones can purchase the same $9 student/teacher package (includes admission, small drink, and popcorn), or can purchase a $2 ticket with concessions at normal price. Please notify us whether the school will be covering the cost of parents/chaperones or if they will be responsible for themselves.

  2. Booking requests must be made 7 days prior to the requested date. An additional fee of $75 will be required for school bookings made less than 7 days before the requested date Payment by cash, check, or card is required on the day of your school showing. Invoices will be provided in advance of your arrival.

  3. **We strongly encourage you to speak with other teachers in your district and coordinate your field trip on the same date, if possible. The Grand may book multiple schools at the same time/date to meet the minimum attendance. Each school will be notified of this upon booking. The first school that books the time/date will receive first preference of the movie and will be notified if other schools will be scheduled along with their booking.

  4. A teacher or administrator must complete the booking form on behalf of the school or by emailing the theatre directly at grandtheatrestamford@gmail.com. This includes providing a total number of attendees expected and age range or students, along with the movie selected. We offer a limited number of school field trip slots per semester. Booking well in advance is highly encouraged. 

  5. Film Choices: Schools may choose to choose their own film, less than 2 hours in total runtime. You may choose to bring the DVD or Blu-ray copy with you, or you may also choose a film from our limited DVD library the theatre. We do not allow private showings of films currently showing at our theatre. Schools assume responsibility for rights to show the film.

You will receive communication from our booking manager no less than one week before your scheduled field trip to confirm all logistics and answer any questions you may have.
